Recipe – Byriani & Flat Bread

Rinse the rice in cold water through a sieve.

Frozen Veg mix

Spices:

Turmeric

Gala Masala

Chillie Powder

Chillie Seeds

Garlic Powder

Curry Powder

Coriander

Ginger 

Fry off some onions with a mixture of spices such as turmeric, gala masala, cinnamon, chill powder, chill seeds, onion, garlic and paprika powder. Curry Powder, ginger, salt & pepper. Only use some of this such as a teaspoon worth for frying the onions.

In a mixing bowl, place some cubed chicken or meat of your choice and use a teaspoon worth of the spice mix, then tip in the rice, veg and fried onions and mix together with the rest of the spice mix.

Place all in an oven dish and sprinkle a veg stock cube along with some curry leaves. Cover with tin foil and put in oven till cooked.

For flatbreads,

Flour

Milk/yoghurt

Salt
